Bookkeeping for small business

Books that stay balanced.

BAS, payroll, and year-end handled for one fixed monthly fee. Your books stay current all year.

Every figure in its own column, kept current week by week.

What we keep on the ledger

Four lines of work, done weekly, so nothing compounds at quarter end.

  1. BAS and IAS

Prepared from reconciled accounts and lodged under our agent number, so your due dates stay extended.

    Quarterly
  2. Payroll

STP filings, super, leave, and payslips handled weekly. Staff paid right without you opening a spreadsheet.

    Weekly
  3. Year-end pack

Accounts reconciled, coded, and wrapped for your tax agent in July. No shoebox, no scramble.

    Annually
  4. Software and catch-up

Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks set up properly, and old receipts cleared before they become a June problem.

The monthly rhythm

Bookkeeping only works when it is boring. Here is the routine your books settle into.

  1. By the 5th

    Hand over

Snap receipts or forward invoices. Bank feeds and rules do the rest.

  2. Every Friday

    Reconcile

We code every transaction and flag anything odd the week it happens.

  3. By the 20th

    Report

A plain-English snapshot of cash, invoices owed, and what is due next.

Boring on purpose: the same few steps, every month.

One fee, agreed up front

Most clients pay $240 to $520 a month, including GST.

Scoped to transaction volume and payroll headcount. No hourly meters, and no surprise invoices. If your volume changes, we re-quote before it bills.

A ten-minute call settles the number. Start a conversation to get yours.

“Column took the BAS box off my desk. The 20th report tells me exactly where the cash sits, and I have not lodged late since.”

Questions we hear first

Do I need to change software?

No. We work with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. If your records are a shoebox, we pick one together and migrate you properly.

How long does handover take?

About a week. We map your accounts, chase stray statements, and reconcile one full month before anything else changes.

Who actually does the work?

A named bookkeeper from our small team, not a ticket queue. You get their direct email and number on day one.

Are you registered BAS agents?

Yes. Every BAS we lodge goes through a registered agent, which automatically extends your lodgment and payment deadlines.
